Mahesh, who appeared on silver screen in his childhood with 'Sankharavam' has hit as
hero with Rajakumarudu and then continued his celluloid journey with Murari, Takkari
Donga, Bobby, Okkadu, Naani, Arjun Yuvaraju, Vamshi,, Athadu and Pokiri.
With hits and flops like ups and downs he nurtured well in his career. The film 'Murari' brought
him a good star image and with the historical success of 'Pokiri' he turned super star.
He made an experiment with the film 'Naani' on home banner but that turned a flop as Telugu audiences couldn't digest the essence of the film. The film 'Bobby' was an utter flop in his career. Poor story line and narration marred the film.
Vamshi has also failed in the early days of his career. Inspiring from his father, he tried in the cowboy flick 'Takkari Donga'. But that didn't fair well as cowboy element sounded obsolete for Telugu audiences.
Days were brighter for him ever since he married his lady love, Namratha Sirodkar. Mahesh is certainly an example for 'struggle to successes'. Let us wish that he continues his success forever.
Now, he is busy with the shooting of ATHIDHI and the expectations are very high on the same. With the success of 'Pokiri' this new film is expected to go at very higher price. Trisha is pairing up with him in 'Sainikudu'.
To sum up, Mahesh bagged his father's title, Super Star with 'Pokiri'
